Adding Google Adsense And Addynamo Ads To Mobilepress

Too many times people have always asked how they could insert Google Adsense Mobile ads and Ad-dynamo ads to mobilepress on their WordPress blog but the steps are actually simple, just follow me here and am sure you would get it done.

I will only be using one platform(Google Adsense or Addynamo) as illustration but have it at the back of your mind that same steps are applicable to other advertising platform.

Inserting Addynomo Ads To Mobilepress

Now, take a look at the screenshot below

add advertising to mobilepress

That’s a screenshot of how Addynamo ads displays on my blog, don’t you love it?

Now, Lets Begin:

First i would assume you are already signed up on Addynamo Publishing platform, the next thing to do is to create and generate your Addynamo code which you are to place on your blog.

Have you got the code?

Now, you need to access your website files via file manager on the control panel of your hosting account.

Apparently you can access your control panel website files via two ways, through going to or using ftp accounts. Personally i use FTP LIVE in performing this task as it is very easy and light and i would recommend you use that too to make the process fast.

Goto and enter your hosting account log in details and click on Launch FTP Browser.

When logged in to your account, navigate to Public_html>>wp-content>>plugins>>Mobilepress>>system>>themes>>default as seen in the screenshot below:

control panelGot  that? Now you have to make a decision here, do you want your ads to display at the top of your blog or at the bottom?

Adding Ads To Top Of Your MobilePress Blog

I want to believe you are still on that  page that shows your mobilepress files like that in the above screenshot, right? Now Edit the Header file and scroll to the last line in the header edit page and find

<div class=”aduity”><?php mopr_ad(‘top’); ?></div> and replace with <div class=”aduity”><<script type=”text/javascript”>
    var _adynamo_client = “45ddc4ea-7d44-41d6-bde6-0cf75afff856”;
    var _adynamo_width = 234;
    var _adynamo_height = 60;
<script type=”text/javascript” src=””></script></div>

Remember to change <script type=”text/javascript”>
var _adynamo_client = “45ddc4ea-7d44-41d6-bde6-0cf75afff856″;
var _adynamo_width = 234;
var _adynamo_height = 60;
<script type=”text/javascript” src=””></script> which is in italic format to your own ads code.

Now save and view your blog using your mobile phone, how does it feel?

Inserting Ads To The Footer Of Your Mobilepress Version Of Your Blog

Just edit the footer file on the same mobilepress files page and on the very first line, copy and paste

<div class=”aduity”><<script type=”text/javascript”>
    var _adynamo_client = “45ddc4ea-7d44-41d6-bde6-0cf75afff856”;
    var _adynamo_width = 234;
    var _adynamo_height = 60;
<script type=”text/javascript” src=””></script>

Remember to change the codes in bold to your generated ad code.

Save and View your blog using a mobile device, you should see the effect.

      Yes adsense for mobile when using wordpress doesn’t show up on every page unlike the adsense for content. View more posts on your blog and you should come across it again.

    While it may be easy to add adsense on blogger basing on what I know, I found a difficult adding adsense for mobile on mobile press and really love to do that. Great that I stumbled on this tutorial and cant stand without trying it. Will be back to post the response after I try it out. Thanks for sharing.
