Google Releases Android 4.3 OS : Features And What’s New
Some couple of days back, Internet Giant Google, announced the release of Android 4.3 Operating System for Nexus 7 android Device and since then, the internet has been seeking for information regarding ‘What’s New in Android 4.3 in terms of features and How to Upgrade to Android 4.3‘. Google also made it clear that this is not a major android upgrade as they still refer it to Jelly Bean but there are some features worth noticing in the Android 4.3 OS.
So far so good, Google has already delivered the new android 4.3 Jelly bean upgrade to Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 devices and it might take a while for other android devices to be able to upgrade to this version but perhaps, you wanna try it on your android device running android 4.4.
Some Features Of Android 4.3 OS
Bluetooth Smart Ready Support: The new Android 4.3 now supports low energy bluetooth smart accessories like fitness sensors and some other bluetooth sensor devices.
Restricted Profiles: The Android 4.3 also introduced something it seem to have lacked over the years and that’s Restricted Profile features. Organisations can now set up their employees profiles to keep them focused on work during working hours, parent can set up profiles for every member of the family etc. Restricted profile simply restrict app usage and content consumption based on privileges.
Project From Device To TV: With the android 4.3 OS, you can project your favorite movies or videos from your android devices to a HDTV via Miracast support.
Better Notification: The New OS upgrade now has all notification in one place with a pretty cool interface.
Faster And Smoother: Android 4.3 seems to be way faster and smoother than all its older android OS. Its also got better graphics in games and videos and better responsive properties. Personally, I think your android device should perform better in this new OS version.

How To Upgrade To Android 4.3
As I had stated earlier, Google has already delivered the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade to Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 devices and it might take a while before other devices can be able to upgrade to this version. As at when posting this, some phone manufacturers like Sony Corp has announced a lineup of Smart Phones that will receive the Android 4.3 update soon and these includes devices like the Xperia Z, Xperia ZR, Xperia ZL, Xperia SP, Xperia Tablet Z and the newly launched Xperia Z ultra.
For some reasons, you might want to upgrade your device to android 4.3 before it becomes official hence you can download the manual update files. You can download the 4.3 OTA update straight from Google servers by clicking here. After which you can use custom recovery method(if using a rooted device) or ADB sideload Command(for non-rooted or stock devices) to install the Android 4.3 update on your device but please note that this is totally on your own risk.
More so, please note that before you can upgrade to Android 4.3, you must have stock Android 4.2.2 JDQ39 running on your device.
In my subsequent post, I should be writing more tutorials on how to upgrade to Android 4.3 based on devices. You can also search XDA-Developers forum for how to upgrade to Android 4.3 based on your own android device.
