New Android 4.4 KitKat OS Leaked Features

The upcoming android 4.4 Kitkat Operating System(OS) has been the talk of the moment for android users and I have been hearing a lot about android 4.4 although until now, only some few features has been mentioned here and there on the internet. Well, I actually have been able to get my hands on some features as it was said that a Google Nexus 5 was already running the New Android OS. The New Android Kitkat OS has been rumored to be released officially in just a few days from now and I will definitely post an update here regarding that.

Just sometime ago, Apple freshly released iOS7 and apple fans are still happy about that, Android users will also be much more happy soon as they are  eagerly awaiting the launch of Kit Kat – otherwise known as Android 4.4. The latest version of Google’s mobile OS should be accompanied by the Nexus 5, the newest handset in Nexus lineage and the second to be produced by manufacturer LG.

I’d like to share with you some features which will be possesed by the new android OS hence, let’s head over to that.

Features In Android 4.4 KitKat

1. First, the notification bar now supposedly has white icons and a transparent background.

2. Google Photo’s and hangouts apps have replaced the Gallery and Messaging apps.

3. You can now easily access Google Now by simply saying ‘OK Google’ from the home screen on the android OS.

4. Initially, I think the previous OS android versions allows a max of 5 home screens but with the latest version, you can now add more than 5 home screens.

5. Additional Transparency has been added to the navigation bar and app drawer as well.

6. Widgets have been removed from the app drawer and are now accessed by long press as they once were.

7. The camera feature will be easily accessed via the lock screen by simply swiping a small camera icon.

8. Android 4.4 is supposed to make better use of multi-core CPUs and is apparently “lightweight” in terms of the demands it places on the hardware thus leading to more battery life.

Many more features are said to have changed and I am pretty sure that the ability to quickly activate Google Now as well as the new look of Android will prove to be much more beneficial.

I will be posting more news and updates regarding this android OS as time goes by. Do let us know what you think about the new Android 4.4 kitKat OS using the comment form.
